This gold amulet is not only lovely to look at; its three circles symbolize the Triple Gems. The outer ring is gold and has the Guru Rinpoche’s mantra embossed on it. The inner circle of rose gold contains an engraving of the Goddess Tara, with a sparkling stone as part of it. The second circle, beyond the outer one, features silver-colored stones. Carrying this amulet is believed to be a strong talisman preventing accidents, disasters, enemies, misfortune or harmful spirits. It features a golden tassel below the necklace, adding to its beauty.
The Green Tara’s mantra is OM TARE TUTTARE TURESVAHA, the second most popular Tibetan mantra. Those who repeat her mantra believe Tara’s compassion will shine on them and save them from eight varieties of calamity. Guru Rinpoche’s mantra is OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADRA SIDDHI HUM, and when repeated, it’s said that it wards off negative energies and allows karmic merit to accumulate. Those with enough karmic merit are said to achieve love, happiness, wealth and health with greater ease. Prayers and wishes are thought to come true more readily.
